Child! Killer X Reader

GreenR: so now I have finished my interview and tests and all there is is to wait for the results. *nervously chews on pencil*

Law: which come in April.

GreenR: I knowwwww *breaks down* I can't wait that long. I need a hug. C'mere. *hugs Law*

Nami: *walks in. Looks at them. Walks out*

Robin: didn't you want to ask Revo something?

Nami: she's strangling Law again. Wonder what happened?

"Goodnight sweetheart," blond lady tucked his son into bed and left the room, putting the lights out. You waited for few seconds and then crawled out from under the bed, cracking your knuckles nervously.

"Killleeerrrrrr," you whispered and peeked at the bed where the small boy was sleeping. At your voice he sat up anf rubbed his eyes.

"What is it Y/N?"

"I came to playyyy...." your nails scratched the floor as you stalked closer to him.

"Can you please stop acting like that every time? The floor is pretty ruined by now,"

"Well I'm sorry that you can't appreciate grade A monster under your bed," you put your hands on your hips and rolled your eyes, although he surely couldn't see it in the dark. "I have news by the way,"

"What news?" Little Killer got out of the  bed and waddled to you, adorable in his Superman pyjamas. "Is dad finally coming home?" Your heart almost broke at that, because you still hadn't had guts to tell him his dad had run away with some woman. Poor boy.

"Nope, other news. You are almost ten now," you kneeled down so you could look him in the eyes through your slimy hair which was covering most  of your face. "That means you are too big for a monster," boy looked at you for a moment and then his lower lip started trembling and he flunged himself at you, wrapping his chubby arms around your neck. You could too feel the tears rising up in your eyes, and hugged him back.

"You can't leave now Y/N," he sobbed, "you can't,"

"Look kiddo, it's not like I have a choice," you tried to explain.

"Will you go to some other kid now?"

"How could I kiddo?" You lied through your teeth, "I may not be with you but I'm still your monster. So I'll be coming to check on you, and you have to remember to be a good kid,"

"You promise?" He was still clinging to you when you walked to his bed and tucked him in.

"I promise," you held your pinky out and linked it with his. After he fell asleep you disappeared under his bed, going to see the next child you were supposed to scare. But he was always the only one you had befriended.

Later

You cursed yourself for eating too many cookies as you wriggled through the small passageway under a child's bed and finally popped out. Sighing happily you looked out and stalked as a man with long blonde hair put a small child to sleep, talking to her.

"When will mommy come back?" Girl hugged her doll and stayed still as the man pulled blanket up to her chin.

"I don't know Y/N, mommy just needs to figure few things out," you got confused when you heard your name and were almost ready to crawl out and reveal yourself, "go to sleep now, okay? Good night." Girl mumbled something back and turned over, falling asleep. When the man walked out you sprinted after him and followed him to the downstairs.
