GreenR: *mumbles* that's not what you said before. *continues louder* but it's almost christmas!

Law: you've been saying that for almost a month now!

GreenR: it really is almost christmas. Just few days more.

Law: and then there is the christmas break too....

GreenR: I know.....no school.....

You walked very seriously back and forth in front of the couch your boyfriend sat on. He had an equally serious expression and he said 'yes commander!' after your every sentence.

"The mission I'm about to give you is extremely important!"

"Yes commander!"

"It needs extreme patience and concentration ability!"

"Yes commander!"

"Do you think you can handle it?!"

"Yeah!"

"Alright!" You handed him the huge dark box and saluted, "go put on the christmas lights then," he sprinted out of the room, while you went back to baking gingerbread, happy you got that job off your shoulders. That of course didn't mean it was going to be fine or anything. There was still so much that could go wrong.

You didn't hear anything from him for about half an hour, and then....you heard that. The sound of a sad dinosaur coming from outside.

"Y/N!" It called desperately. You rushed out, just to find Luffy wrapped in a mess of Christmas lights, hanging from the roof. You facepalmed at the sight, but still grabbed a ladder and climbed up to start untangling him from the knotty chain.

"Just tell me one thing, how did you manage that?" You pulled the chain of the roof and he fell in the snow, still in that mess.

"Mahbdhsnmajsb msbshm mabsb msn msbhebeu hdyeh," he stuttered, face still in the snow. You got down from the roof and helped him up and into the house, planning on getting the chains off from there. Your face fell a bit when you saw that most of the bulbs were crushed and you had to throw the chain away.

"Sorry," Luffy mumbled when he noticed your expression.

"You know, I never liked Christmas lights that much anyways," you said, trying to lift his mood. Sure, you had loved lights ever since you were a child, but that didn't mean you had to put them up every year! Maybe it was time to get other decorations out?

"And if anyone asks, we can always say that we had a visit from the Grinch," he suggested hopefully while you took the scissors and snapped the chain off him.

"Sure. Or that we are Grinches, and we hate Christmas," you rolled your eyes and pecked his nose before going to kitchen to throw the lights out.

"Oh, smells yummy," he followed you to kitchen and stole one of the gingerbread bells from the table. "Ow hot! Hot hot hot!" He stuffed it into his mouth and swallowed, still whining about his hurt tongue.

"Holy cheetos, be careful," you carefully steered the rest of the cookies away from him. "And don't touch them."

"Why not? They are yummy," he took some more from behind your back and you swatted his hands away, threatening him with a spoon.

"They are for Koala and Sabo when they come later, you can eat them then,"

"but they come late," he whined, still eyeing the food.

"Go eat something else,"

"Please," he looked at you with extremely sad puppy eyes, walking towards you so you had to take a step back and were trapped between him and the table.

"Don't even think about it," you warned when he slided his arms around you and leaned even closer. You gulped nervously and tried to push him away. "No. No food."

"But I'm hungry," he pouted sadly and moved closer to you, so your noses almost touched. You parted your lips, waiting for a kiss and you felt blush creeping onto your face. Then one of his hands left your waist, making you furrow your brows. Your hand flew back and you catched his before he could steal some more food.

"I said no, and I meant it," you pushed him away and sighed deeply when he walked out of the kitchen, still whining.

"Bollocks, that was close one."
