Law: Greenie! Were you going through the baby pictures again?!
GreenR: *hugs a big album and whispers* but they are so cute
Law: this is embarrasing.
GreenR: cute. Don't argue with that.
Roci: hey Revo, do you want me to get the other albums too?
Law: you gave her those? Why?
GreenR: oh shush, they are just lovely. Thank you Roci-san. *pile of books buries her* I think.

"So you are dead?" Nami leaned her head on her hands and looked at your almost transparent face. You shifted nervously from the attention, and also Luffy's failed attempt to not go through you when he touched you.
"Technically, yeah," you moved your arm away from the childish pirate who kept poking it.
"What do you mean technically?"
"Well it means I'm only mostly dead, not really dead," you explained and stopped when you saw her utterly confused face. Okay, then you have to explain it some other way. "Uh, okay, lets see.....if person lives without restraint and attachments, then when he or she dies, they go right away to the other side. But when a person has...ummm....other person or something they are attached to, they stay her until the object or person they are tied to is so gone, even a memory of it is beginning to fade. That's why so many ghosts stay here for hundreds of years or even more."
"Woah, that's cool," Nami wrote some of what you had said down and then looked interestedly up. "Haw long have you been around?"
"I actually died few months before I met you guys," you grinned desperately, trying to ignore the horrified glances they gave you. So young. So full of chances. So full of hope. So dead.
"But you're still here so it's okay," Luffy said to your great surprise and kept poking your neck with a fork. It went through every time but that didn't stop that little bugger from trying again and again. Not that you really minded. It wasn't like you could feel pain anymore, instead, it felt like someone was tickling you.
"Yeah," you smiled, happy to be helped out of a pinch. Even though your helper was someone who didn't even understand how much his words mean. Sometimes. BUT SOMETIMES THAT LITTLE DEVIL KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO SAY TO MAKE YOU HAPPY AND IT WAS AWESOME. GODDAMMIT I SEE I'M CAPITALIZING AGAIN, EH? OH WELL, GUESS IT'S ALRIGHT.
"What is your thing then?" Nami finished scribbling down the notes about what you had explained about ghosts. "I mean, what's keeping you in earth?"
"Heee~ you know the treasure you picked up from the castle wgere you found me," you rubbed your neck awkwardly and grinned. "I sorta gathered it when I was still alive, and there is a small crown I'm tied to. Wherever this goes, I go."
"A crown, huh?" She poked her cheek with her pen. "Gotta dig it up from there and see we don't lose it."
"That would be nice," you got up from the chair you had been sitting on and floated towards the door. Okay, you hadn't really been sitting, more like bending your boduly in a sitting position and then using all the willpower you had to float above the chair.
It was a small thing, but sitting, walking through the door someone had opened to you, floating above the bed while everybody else slept and pretending you were too- those things made you feel a bit human again. You couldn't eat or sleep, but you could talk and listen to others, and when you concentrated really hard, you could even touch things, pick them up.
Like now. Knitting your eyebrows together, you stared at the doorhandle, and tried to think it as hard and touchable as possible, so your hand would think so too and wouldn't go through it. First attempt, your fingers slipped a bit into it and you pulled your hand back, trying again. Second time you managed to twist the handle and push the door a bit so it would creak open. Not that it really creaked, not much at least. Franky would never allow it on Sunny.
You walked (okay, floated, but you were putting one leg before other while floating, so it looked like walking. From very far away. To a blind guy) to the deck and looked down at the sea. The smaller sea monsters jumped out of the water and waved their brightly coloured fins.
"Can you turn invisible?" Luffy asked, sitting next to you on the railing. Before you can ask, yes, he had also asked you before if you could poop, and you had explained to him very calmly that since you didn't eat, you didn't poop. And what's weird, it wasn't even weirdest conversation you had had with him.
"Yeah," you shrugged. "Actually ghosts are invisble by our nature, so we have to think about it when we want others to see us." He picked on his nose and thought about something while you looked down again, seeing that sea monsters had fled.
"But can you possess people like in that old book Robin read to me once?" No wonder Robin had to read it to him, you thought sarcastically. Even caterpillar had more patience than him.
"Dunno, never tried," a lightbulb lit up in your head and when you looked at Luffy you could see you had gotten the same idea. "Okay, but I don't know how it really works," you warned him before stepping inside him and he shivered in a sudden cold wave.
Your hands felt heavier and stronger than before, and when you tried to take a step forward, you faceplanted in the deck.
"Oi that hurt," Luffy complained while you got up from the ground.
"Sorry," you chuckled back, and man, did that sound weird, since both of you were using the same body, you also used the same voicecords. Only difference being that your voice was little higher and girlier. It pretty much looked like Luffy was talking to himself. "I'm still....*cough* trying to get a hang of it."
"Can you float like this?" He took control over the body and jumped up and down few times. That made it even harder to concentrate even just on staying inside him, what is there to talk about flying. Okay, that staying inside him part sounds a bit weird. Lets forget it.
"Stop it!" You shouted and he stood more or less still, "good, let me just....think...." you concentrated really hard on being as light as possible, so you could float with even a body, but when you opened your eyes, you were still tightly on the ground.
"Nope, not working. Too heavy," you shrugged and stepped out of his body. Instantly it felt like you had lost about seventy kilograms, a ton, really, taking that you weighed absolutely nothing. Because you were ghost. And didn't have a real body.
"Man, I really wanted to fly," he pouted. But that only lasted for a second before his carefree smile came back. "But we can try again ri- Y/N?" He looked confusedly around. You weren't thinking about being visible anymore, so you had turned invisible. Kinda logical.
"I'm okay," if you were still alive you would have just dropped down and slept for couple of days, but now you had no chance but to wait until you recharged. "Just give me few hours and I'll be as good as new," you gave him thumbs-up even though he couldn't see it. It was the thought that counted.
