GreenR: okay, who invented Geography? This is just so bloody boring, I'm falling asleep half of the time
Law: but you need it if you wanna become a pirate, Green-ya
GreenR: I knoowwwww, but that doesn't make it more interesting
Law: stop whining.
GreenR: anyways, that's one request down, I hope it's okay.

You hummed lowly by the song coming from the radio, sending looks from time to time to the driver of the car.
"So? Can you finally tell me why we are going to the town?" You asked excitedly, tapping the window.
"No, it's a surprise," you groaned lowly and pouted.
"You know I hate surprises," you mumbled.
"yap," he grinned, popping the 'p' really hard.
"Let me guess, that's exactly why you're doing this," you nudged him with an elbow and his grin grew even wider.
"Nope," and a few moments later he turned to the hospital, "we're here,"
"Hospital.....wait," you realised something, "does that mean...."
"You didn't finish the question but probably," Law grabbed your crutches from the backseat and handed them to you while you swinged off the seat and stood on one leg. Not that you had more than one.
"Well, is it then?" You almost jumped from excitement. Almost.
"Is what?"
"My new leg, you smartass," you poked your tongue out and kept limping to the hospital door.
"Yup," Law opened the door and let you in, "and it should fit perfectly,"
"Oh I do hope so," you mumbled when you stopped before one of the doors and it swinged open. "'Ello," you wave at the surprised female medic, "how's it goin'?"
"Hey Y/N, hey doctor," girl smiled, "did you tell her?"
"About the leg? Sure," you were like a child on the Christmas Day, "can I see it now? Regina pleasepleaseplease," she chortled and brought out a big white box.
"Sit down then," you did and rolled your shorts' hem up a bit, so it showed the nest where to place the prosthetic leg. "I hope this time it fits," last time it had been to short and before that too hard, or heavy.
"Me too, I wouldn't mind getting rid of these," you flicked the crutches further.
"Okay, that may sting a little," mumbled Law who was activating the leg so it would connect to your nerves. A pain jolted up your leg and you let out a small screech.
"Sting? Owwwwwwww," you bit your lip, "if that's a sting then I don't wanna know what you call real pain,"
"Whine later, now tell me, can you move it?" He stared at your foot. As an answer you wiggled your toes hesitantly and a grin spread over your face.
"Okay now, try to stand up," he and Regina held both one of your hands and helped you up. A thick-soled boot made even standing hard, so you kicked it off and tried rocking back and forward.
"Now let me see," Regina grabbed a paper, "it is waterproof, so you can still go swimming, but you have to dry it up later and also come to check-up from time to time. Pure formalities...are you listening?"
"No," you jumped from leg to leg and giggled, "but I have two legs now, so I'm gonna walk."
"You walked before too," Law argued. He didn't like it when you tried to lessen yourself, just because you were missing few limbs. Yes, limbs, few months ago he had made you a hand, which you had lost to the landmine.
"Well, that was- okay it was walking, sort of," you rubbed the cheek he had pinched when you tried to argue.
"Good, now lets get going," you had already skipped to the door, "don't you want shoes or something?"
"Meh, shoes are for people with no imagination," you flipped and grabbed his arm, "bye Reggie!"
"Godspeed," Regina waved after you.
"Okay, I get it, you're excited, but take it bit slower," Law laughed while you ran around the halls of the hospital, "the nerves are still on alert, and if you go that fast-" your leg failed you and you fell on the ground. "-you may end up with useless leg,"
"Owwwww," you rubbed your real knee when he picked you up.
"Wait for few hours, 'kay? It can't be that hard,"
"Well, it is for me," you pouted when he stuffed you into the car.
