He had been waiting for her. For someone so special and different.

Kidd's eyes were glued on the girl standing by the counter of a small club-bar, slowly rocking by the music, drink in her hand. He started going towards her, trying to think up something for conversation, when he noticed black-haired tall man and woman joining the girl he had been looking at.

Woman kissed the girl on both cheeks and gave her a hug, laughing warmly. They started talking about something and he stopped. Just barging into like that wasn't really his style. Okay, that's a bulldog/shitzu, he definitely would have barged in if he had wanted.

The the H/C girl raised her head suddenly and her eyes met with Kidd's, she turned away, face flushed red in the lights. Woman standing next to her nudged the girl with her elbow towards the dance floor, but she took only fee hasty steps and then turned back again.

Woman shook her head and got up from her place leaning against the counter, letting her eyes investigate the room. Suddenly her gaze landed on Kidd and she started determinedly walking towards him.

"Hiya, I'm Alice," she introduced herself, "and I have a small favour to ask from you. I noticed you looking at Y/N, and she's far too shy to talk to you herself. So, can you maybe, come and take her dancing?"

"I would've done that anyways,"

"Eventually," he smirked slightly at her words and followed her to her friends. Tall man wrapped his hands immediately around woman's shoulders and gave Kidd a killer glare.

"May I have this dance?" He bowed a bit mockingly and offered his hand to the girl, who was even more beautiful from close up as he noticed, who took it and walked slowly behind him to the dance floor.

Kidd's one hand slided on waist and the other held her's as they started dancing. She blushed even more and just stared at her feet awkwardly.

"Sorry," she finally mumbled out beneath her breath.

"For what?"

"I know Alice made you do this and-"

"Nobody makes me do anything. I'm here because I want to," she looked up at him nervously and he shrugged, suddenly embarrased by his choice of words. "So you're Y/N?" He tried to start talking about something else.

"Yes. I still don't know your name though..." she said questioningly.

"Kidd,"

"Eh? What kid?" She looked around her surprisedly.

"My name is Kidd," he blushed at her smile when she realised her mistake.

"Oh sorry again," she stepped on his foot, "and that too," her stiletto's heel wavered and she trippef over herself, almost landing on the floor. "I really think I should give up now and go back to my friends, "she said resignedly, cursing her clumsiness.

"Why? Am I that terrible?"

"No just...." she was at loss of words.

"And your friends left already anyways," Y/N's head whipped beck and she glared at the empty spot.

"These damn shitzus," she mumbled under her breath and glancing around noticed how little couples there were still dancing. The band announced the last song of the night being played and very slow notes flied through the room. Her hands instictively wrapped around his neck as she leaned closer, her eyes blinking fastly, trying to take in every detail of her partner's face.

They kept staring each other and slkwly dancing, although the music had already stopped and the room empty. They only snapped out of it after someone tapped her shoulder, telling her that the place was being locked so they had to go home.

They kissed before going their separate ways anf they never meet again. The end.
