Angie's POV:
No response.
Herman ignores my letter and doesn't seem to care at all about me being worried for over a week.
What the hell am I supposed to do?!
I want to go after him.
And I will...
- Sultanim, are you sure this is a good idea? - Cennett asked while I was getting ready to leave to Edirne.
- Good idea, or not... I have to see him now and nothing will stop me in this!
She sighed.
- I'll be back soon - I added then I headed out of the room.
----- TIME SKIP -----
- Open the door, guards! - I ordered them.
They looked at each other then just looked back at me in silence.
- Open it!!
- Sultanim - one guard finally spoke - We can't open the door for you.
- Why?!
- Hümasah Sultan's order to keep this door closed and not to let anyone out.
Hümasah... Of course.
Why does she want this door to be closed anyway?
------ TIME SKIP -----
Since I had no other choice I went to see Hümasah Sultan and ask for opening the door, although I really wasn't into begging for anything from her.
- Kösem... What made you come over? - she asked me as I arrived to her.
- I wanted to leave the palace, but appearently I can't - I replied.
- Oh yes. I told them to keep it close.
- Please let me go - I asked her nicely, but instead of a nice answer this is what I got:
- Who do you think you are? Do you really think you're that special that the door will open for you?
- I want to go after the Su...
- I know you want to go after the Sultan, but you won't. He left the palace for a reason, but I think I don't need to explain that to you.
- No need...
- Then if you don't have anything more to say then leave.
I was completely speechless by the way she was talking and since I couldn't speak I simply bowed and left her room.
