Since I couldn't make Hümasah to help me out I decided to go and get some help from Mehmed Aga, who came to my help.
As we went to the door again he ordered the guards to open the door.
- Mehmed...
- Stop resisting and open the door, idiots! - he hissed angrily.
Some time of "arguing" they opened the door and let me out to the car that was already outside, waiting for me to come out.
I jumped in and surprisingly enough Mehmed Aga followed me.
- Huh? Meh...
- I'm coming with you! - he told me.
- There's no need.
- I'm coming, like it, or not.
- Why are you so determined to come with me?
- I've already lost Handan Sultan... I'm not gonna leave you alone so you might end up like her as well so I'm coming!
As much as I wanted I just couldn't say anything against this.
So I just let him join in.
----- TIME SKIP -----
The way to Edirne was long and by now it's the middle of the night and we're still going which wasn't a big surprise.
But we suddenly stopped...
- Huh? What's going on? - Mehmed Aga groaned.
But as the second passed we were attacked by some thiefs, or whatever.
They killed all the guards and they were coming to get us too.
Luckily we quickly could run away, into the woods, but they came after us and only seconds they needed to knock Mehmed out and me as well.
----- MEANWHILE -----
Herman's POV:
Resting peacefully while having some dinner.
That's what we have been doing.
Although it seems like as Mehmed Giray would be bothered by me not reading Angie's letter right away which he said too...
- Why wouldn't you read it? You might feel better after that - he said.
- Why are you so excited about this?
- I'm not excited. I just know she loves you and she's worried about you right now, My Lord.
- Yeah... I guess you're right - I sighed as I finally ended up reading the letter she sent me.
And just as he said it immediately made me feel better...
- Oh dear...
Just then I suddenly heard Zülfikar's voice from the corridor...
- Sultan Herman! - he panted as he bowed deeply when he entered the room - Did Kösem Sultan... Arrive here?
- What? She's back at the palace, no? - I asked back.
- No. She went to head over here in the afternoon!
- What? Are you telling me you lost sight of her, Zülfikar?! - I shouted.
- I-I'm sorry...
- Where the hell is she then?!
Goddamnit!
She came after me and if something happened to her because of me...
