A/N: From this point on only narrator will talk as things are going on their way.
Also there won't be too many chapters left since as much as I might would like to continue this most of you aren't interested in a story that has no germangie, or any couples in it.
Next morning was the hardest for Angie.
She didn't tell anyone about the death of Sultan Herman, other than her most trusted servants Cennett, Azura, Mehmed aga and Maria, whom were all shocked by this.
Now that the Sultan, her husband and the father of her children was gone she had to think about her sons' future which wasn't very clear just yet.
Angie knew if Halime finds out about Herman's death she'll happily take the opportunity to put her son, Mustafa on the throne, since he was the oldest Sehzade of all.
She was concerned about her sons Mehmed and Osman's hatred towards each other and she was scared that if Osman gets the throne now it'll cause more problems between the brothers.
Exactly this is why she began to do her plan which needed Zülfikar, a few powerful pashas and the leader of the janissar army.

- We're all here, Sultanim - Zülfikar spoke, but he immediately noticed how restless Kösem Valide Sultan looked.
But he didn't say anything.
- Thank you - she replied - Thank you to all of you, who came. I have some important news to share with you.
She then looked over to Mehmed aga, who handed the first pasha in the line, Hashlam Pasha a letter.
The Sultana didn't speak, just watched as the pasha's facial expression's changing from the normal to shocked and hands the letter to the next pasha and so on until it gets to Zülfikar.
"I am Kösem Sultan. Let everybody know that I'm no longer married to Sultan Herman Han anymore, but married to the great Empire."
He looked up at Angie in shock as he had no idea about what has happened the day before this, but he again stayed silent and rather waited until the rest of the people left the room and he could be alone with her and the aga.

- Sultanim - Zülfikar stopped in front of Angie as the rest of the people bowed and left - What is this all about?
Looking up at him he finally realized that the Sultana's eyes were tired, red and basically lifeless...
- Come with me, Zülfikar... - she then said after a few seconds of hesitation then stood up and walked out of the room.
The Pasha looked at Mehmed aga, who always had the emotionless expression on his face to see if he can see anything on him.
But nothing.
So he just followed them silently, but what has been waiting for him in the main palace was the most shocking part of his day.

Angie just walked in to the Sultan's room, without a knock, or anything and just sadly let Zülfikar see what he had to see.
As he walked in he was shocked to see that the sultan he respected and served for years, the sultan, whom he basically looked at as his friend, or brother laying in the bed, lifeless with a white blanket covering half of his body and a knife resting on top.
- Oh, Allah... - Zülfikar moaned as he looked at Angie for a quick second, but after a quick eye contact she turned her back towards him and the lifeless sultan.
She didn't do this because of disrespect.
She did this because she didn't want to start crying in front of the pasha, who was also at the edge of crying as he kneeled down beside the bed and silently began to pray for his friend to find peace.
Zülfikar's shock did not only come from Herman being dead, but by the knife that was resting on his chest.
This placing of the body and knife was a symbol.
A symbol of the dead, who didn't die from natural causes, but from murder and both Angie and Zülfikar knew why was this the way it is.
