Angie's POV:
Guess who I had to face when I was heading to see Herman the next day?
Yes, Pablo.
He was coming out of his room in silence and as soon as he saw me his expression was cold and hateful as he walked closer to me.
- Pablo...
- Happy to see me, huh? - he asked sarcastically.
- Do you want to hear a honest answer?
- Nah. I know what would you say anyway so don't even respond, but listen to me.
I didn't respond.
He sounded so harsh and at made me curious so I let him speak.
- I have no idea why do you want me dead... If it's because of Safiye Sultan, or because of my feelings, but I have never done any harm to you, or your family... But for your bad luck I won't be killed.
- No?
- No. I was sent to the Edirne.
- Edirne...
- Yes. So like it, or not we will see each other very soon. But until then...
He stepped closer to me.
- You should be careful who do you turn against you... Kösem Sultan...
He then walked past me and disappeared at the corner.
What the hell just happened?
Did he actually threat me?
I had no idea he had this side in him, but I don't know why am I surprised.
He is Safiye Sultan's son after all.
I don't know why am I actually surprised.
Ugh...
----- TIME SKIP -----
Herman's POV:
A knock on the door.
- Come in! - I shouted.
Angie came in to the room, looking annoyed and uneasy.
I'm guessing she met up with Iskender on his way out and she realized I'm not doing anything with him.
Here we go...
- Angie - I smiled, but she didn't.
- Why did you let him go? - she asked me right away.
- He didn't do anything wrong.
- This is a mistake. He'll dangerous for us, Herman!
And she went on and on with this until I stood up and walked closer to her...
- Relax - I told her - Everything will be fine.
- Really?
- Yes. He will not come back ever again. I promise you that.
She looked confused, but she just nodded silently.
Well... Of course she's confused.
She doesn't know what happened exactly...
----------
- My Sultan - Mehmed aga came in and bowed.
- I sent him to Edirne so everything is good - I sighed deeply.
He was also part of the team that got Iskender back to the palace by force, pulling him away from Safiye Sultan, who desperately wanted to save him.
- Okay... But...
- But what?
- I don't think you'll like this, but this is what I found in his apartment - he said as he gave me a piece of paper rolled up.
As I took a better look at it I realized that it was a drawing of Angie.
I could see the worry in the aga's eyes, but I didn't say anything to him...
Although my face must have spoken more in that very moment...
----------
Got now why I said he won't come back?
