Pablo's POV:
Herman, Herman, Herman!
It's always about him!
She's ready to argue with me over him when I have nothing to do with his business.
I have enough problems...
Most likely still watching her and him together since it truly makes me sick...
Anyways...
Walking around outside I bumped into Daniel, Angie's childhood friend and who has been living in the palace since we were at the village...
- Hey! How're you doing? - he asked me.
- Good - I simply replied shortly.
- Oh really? It doesn't sound like it.
- I just don't feel like talking, okay? - I groaned as I sat down on the grass, hoping he will leave me be...
But he didn't.
He sat down beside me.
- Let's be honest to each other now - he began - Do you love Angie?
I nearly fell over when he asked me that out of nowhere.
- What? What... The hell are you talking about? - I muttered silently - Why are you asking me this?
- I'm curious... Because you seem to act differently around her and around the Sultan too.
- I don't.
- Yes, you do. Do you think I didn't notice that over all these years?
- And so what if I act differently?
He paused for a moment then sighed deeply as he continued talking...
- I've known her since we were little... Do you have any idea how depressing it is to me to watch her with him?
I was silent while he spoke.
Not because I was scared, or anything.
Because I felt like I need to listen to him.
- Do you have any idea how annoying to watch him around her, touching her and whatever else while all I can do it to stay silent? Because I don't think you have...
- Indeed I don't... But I can understand you as well.
I really did.
Suddenly...
- Desturr! Sultan Herman hazletleri!
We both jumped up when we heard him coming and just silently bowed.
- What are you guys doing out here? - he asked, pretty cheerfully.
- The better question is: What are you doing here already? - Daniel questioned back - I thought the mission was longer.
- It was supposed to be longer, but my son got sick and his mother called me back home... So I'm here.
- Is he okay?
- Yeah, nothing too serious. Luckily.
- That's good - Daniel nodded while I just stood there, in silent.
I didn't know what to say, but I didn't need to speak either.
I just didn't.
