Twilight

I tried to save myself ya know
But how could I avoid it all?
For I was a little lonely fish
You were a rushing waterfall

I tried to run away from you
You were a trouble for sure
But I was a soft fragile flower
You were a heavy downpour

I tried to hide in the shadows
So far away from your lair
For I was a light weight paper
You were a strong gush of air

I so tried to escape your hold
In love, being that lone traitor
For I was such a helpless prey
You were a chasing predator

I tried everything in my hand
To avoid your destructive lust
For I was a damsel in distress
And you were a king so unjust

But every time I tried to escape
I again found tangling my spine
In your woven web for I know
A lamb can fall in love with lion..

Yes. This poem is dedicated to Twilight. I love this series and if you don't, I respect your choices. Therefore, respect mine too. :') No need for harsh comments. :)♡

Also, there were a million perfect images of Edward and Bella to attach but this one reflected the concept in my poem very well so I put it up. ♥♡
