Lets escape all this pain, lets drive
We're gonna make it, we'll survive

Beyond 'Unknown', I see blur stars
So come on, overtake all them cars

Diving into the world of strangers
We'll kiss all the haunting dangers

An' we're gonna explore this night
For after every shade, there's light

Keep it fast, your girl hates it slow
So drift out our lives, raise a show

Let the memories play in our eyes
Oh why don't you pierce the skies?

Lets embrace shady neon heights!
Oh blink 'em, the crazy headlights

Banging music fills this tiny space
Yes baby! Keep increasin' the pace

For finally, our past is fadin' away
Oh darlin', we're the stars of new...

Author's Note

I'm on the highway right now. Listening to 'Strangers' by Tove Lo. This poem just clicked because I love these night drives on the highway. :')

This poem's about a girl who's insisting upon driving fast through the highway because she believes it'll help her escape all her memories. All her pain will fly away because nothing can stand the crazy pace of highways...
