i see you in the middle
of the fadin' smoke rings
that escape my mouth
and deliquesce in the air
as i put this cigarette
between my lips and
pull at it like it's the end
of everything in my lifebut i crunch the tobacco
between my glossy teeth
and spit it out on the floor
before tasting some sugar
and standin' up to dance
to melodious daydreams
playing in the old record
of my retarded minddarling, can't you see
what a loss i have been
behind your elysian being
so why don't you return
back to my warm embrace
and i swear, i'd light 'em all,
your cigarettes for you
so you can destroy me toodidn't i read it somewhere
that second hand smokers
are pulled apart at seams
and their hearts die sooner
so just come back to smoke
'em fags all day around me
because i crave death like
it is a disguise of . . . you.Author's Note
Listening to 'Strawberries and Cigarettes' by Troye Sivan. ❤
My finals start from 14th of May. Prayers would be appreciated and welcomed. :') Oh, and how was this poem? I'm not satisfied because I typed it in less than 10 minutes but I don't want to edit this raw version so I'm updating it as it is. What did you understand after reading it? Don't forget to leave your reviews in the comment section. ^-^
Much love,
