Crashing into those dusty shadows
I try to ignore my cold fingers, toes

Pressing white palms over my ears
I drown shouts to forget past years

'N' all those moments of happiness
For now they yield immense stress

When I look around an' feel so lost
I wish to evade my past at any cost

Every turn I take, I see high towers
I can't climb, I miss my lost powers

Oh how I so used to smile an' laugh
But memories slit me through half

Oh every object has to bear change
No wonder all things are so strange

'Cause I can not recognise anythin'
Except my fragile finger, faint ring

Its silver seems so heavy in weight
For it bears the weight of an ill fate

Oh wrecking our ringing laughters
It drowned us in shattered 'afters'

And I cry daily until my eyes swell
'Cause, honey, you never said...

Farewell
