Trapped in the middle of December
Silently, I stare at this fading emberRecalling those dreams that I wove
Through your eyes by a warm stoveI sigh and try to hold back shy tears
Because they so haunt me, my fearsYour magic was carved in my hand
You were bound to invade my landHalting those cycles of all the clocks
You caught my heart in golden locksEntangled in strings of your breaths
I cocooned myself in velvet sheathsGiving my heart to a street stranger
I couldn't detect any tapping dangerBendin' down on knees for my heart
I forgot that it will only rip me apartStanding by chaotic shore of my life
I let waves drown me in pain, so rifeYou thought it was so easy to leave?
What about all the dreams I weave?Waiting years in a forced loneliness
I accept, unfulfilled desires are messLove is nothing but painful nonsense
I find excuses to evade my existenceFor I know, you'll never remember
I'm left trapped in the middle of...
.
.
.
December
