darling
you're miles away
and your absence
hits me like a gunshot
right through my
withering heart
for i can't stay apart
anymore...

so would you please
come to my rescue
from rippin' loneliness
that's encaging me
moment by moment
and show me a way
for my prison break?

Authors's Note

Short and not upto my standard. It was just a random thought and maybe, I just wanted to publish it in the raw state without adding up to it or editing it so I gave it a go. I know it's not good. But it's original. This is how my bad poems are without editing and revision. :P I'm sorry for making you go through it. I'll not do it again. :x

However, have you noticed that in this poem, beloved's absence is a gunshot so basically, the lover is a victim of an indirect murder. Right? Then how come, she's the one in the prison? Well, the answer is, "this is what love does to you.." :')

Much Love,
