I have spent whole of my past years
Spannin' these bridges, wipin' tears

Hands fisted tightly in jeans pockets
Eyes sunken deep in hollow sockets

Isn't anyone tryin' to search for me?
Oh can I ever be where I want to be?

In the warmth of a comfortin' home
Is it too hard to belong in any form?

I wish I could stay on white of chess
Or am I fated to ever adore sadness?

I'm willing to love with my last part
Ready to keep any stranger in heart!

'Cause I have never tasted affection
I'm dying for sympathy's reflection!

Doesn't anyone feel my spillin' pain?
Will I ever keep walkin' in this rain?

Or maybe I should hide in a folklore
For I can't stand this cold anymore...

Author's Note

Back to being Hazel. Hehe. I adore writing rhyme. ❤

Listening to 'I'm with you' by Avril Lavigne on a bus ride back home. Will update as soon as I reach home. :')♡♥

Okay. Folklore are stories or ideas that are not true but have been heard or read by many people. For this girl in the poem, 'belongingness' is kind of..folklore. See? She decides to hide in imaginations, false sense of belongingness, just to escape the cold seeping in her bones. This cold might be the cold of winter on bridges in rain or it might be...loneliness. :') Poor girl..will you embrace her? Don't let her die... :(❤

Much Love xX
