~Nostalgia~
It's delicate, but potent.
The pain from an old wound.
A twinge in your heart..
Far more powerful than memory alone
A feeling of a place

the little girl never tasted coffee for it scared her to think if it won't be as good as her idea of it, her poetry would bear the consequences of it and she won't be able to pour the sweet taste of her heavenly coffee along with its trailin' steam into her words ever again so the little girl lived with the idea of it and never tasted coffee in her real life for she knew that poetry was not a thing as physical as herself instead it was somethin' that existed beyond the realm of physique and only visited when ideas felt more real than the reality itself
oh that silly little girl! she would sacrifice the taste of coffee for the idea of it because that little girl loved poetry more than her cravin' to feel the coffee inside her veins so would you call this madness?
well, you may with all the wonder residin' in your heart because, my pal, you might not know but the little girl knows with absolute belief that poetry is nothing without madness
Author's Note
This poem is about Hazel herself. She's never tasted coffee in her real life because she doesn't want to shatter the idea of it that she's nourished inside herself for years. So many people found this really strange and she decided that she must put it in a poem to explain it better. She hopes that she succeeded. What do you think? =)❤
