Today, I walked by that old ground
It had an iron gate, flowers around

Colourful butterflies were flutterin'
Ladies on bench, useless muttering

Light hues of skies were so pourin'
I smiled even though it was boring

To wander around neglected parks
Which are shaded by soaring larks

But I walked over to that huge tree
Where we had swung...light 'n' free

Stepping around, a nostalgia kisses
As a ringin' laugh, my heart misses

My eyes find your soft pretty name
Carved on crusty bark without aim

How I had emblazoned it with care
Years ago, we had minutes to spare

Away from this worry, how to earn
All we did was play, smile 'nd learn

When God let us taste soft paradise
I felt lost in our childhood's reprise

When all I ever liked was your curls
Your softly trodden steps 'nd swirls

It so entranced me, your innocence
Oh! how we reveled in evanescence

Your voice ringed like a windchime
But..I lost you to the contest of time

'N' now I wish to play lost an' found
Once again, in this old...
