Goodbyes must not be like
the last sip of wine at the end of a crystal glass
which is left behind to be poured down blue sinks,
or like a lose tendril of lush golden hair
that gradually fails to keep holding on,
or like little kites flying high in the blue sky
for all they can do is escape and escape and escape.

Goodbyes must be like
the midnight dance of lovers in a golden ball room
which intertwines their souls for whole of eternity,
or like the long, yet ephimeral drive on the highway
that spans forever in a few fleeting hours,
or like the goodnight kiss of an affectionate mother
that holds the promise of an undying warmth.

Listening to 'WANTED U' by Joji. I'm on the highway and I am writing this poem right after writing 'Tinted' but I'm going to keep this safe as my second last poem. =)

How was it? Literally, there are three poems to go after this but, by the time you'll read this, we'll have only one poem to go. How do you feel? Do you feel as numb as me? For I wish I knew the word for the feeling that I have right now..

But goodbyes must not be sad.

I wish I could learn what my poetry says. But that Hazel, the one who writes these poems is a different person, always has been, someone who I aspire to be. She's took almost 200 poems to teach it all to me, yet here I am, crying in the arms of Nostalgia. :'(

The last poem is a surprise for you all and when you'll read it, you'll know that it was written by that Hazel, the one who writes poems. She said her goodbye a long time ago and the least I could do was to save it for the last for her. So this is a goodbye from this Hazel, the one who used to be pure gold until alchemists messed her up and left her at the door of nostalgia. A goodbye from this Hazel, who believes that goodbyes are always sad. </3

Much love,
Hazel *-*
