Gliding across shady scarlet skies
I try to forget all your vibrant lies
Lies that colored you in soft hues
And my sanity could be of no use
I trusted all of your fragile strings
Oh it felt like you gifted me wings
Wings enveloping me ever lightly
Love, you possessed me so rightly
Caressing me in glittering shades
I realised, how false love invades
Being drunken on its sleeping pill
Enchantingly, you left me so 'still'
Still as a statue, so unable to move
You were a liar, how could I prove
For I was trapped in your threads
Left forgotten in raw garden beds
Waiting for the tiny buds to bloom
Alas! I forgot that lies lead to doom
Unable to escape your soft charm
I aided you to slowly let me harm
I couldn't ever escape your trance
I wish I knew that I had no chance
I handed over myself to your soul
You shattered me in your low toll
For you bound me in drugged cuff
I thought I could never get enough
'N' even though I'm broken in two
Is it bad that I'm still fallin' for you
