Waves are crashing against shore
I cry for I keep wanting you moreHow I crave to come home to you
But I can't 'cause my days are fewForlorn, I search where I lost it all
And what brought this cutting fallThat I can't even press your hands
Oh! I lost you in Halsey's badlandsI drank 'n' covered myself in neon
While you kept strugglin' all aloneI wasn't there for you in real need
For I was a victim of lust 'n' greedThen one day, our world fell apart
I could not live, I had a weak heartThat liquor had gotten me so hard
I refused to stay in a hospital wardAll I did was burn myself at nights
Forgettin' my duties 'n' your rightsOh you tried to stick by me 'n' care
But glee 'nd pain, I never did shareAnd before I knew, you were gone
Leaving me to cruelly die all aloneBut I shifted down near to this sea
I wanted to die not bound but freeBut now these waves come and go
