~Nostalgia~
It's delicate, but potent.
The pain from an old wound.
A twinge in your heart..
Far more powerful than memory alone
A feeling of a place
Where we...
Ache
To
Go
Again.
-My thoughts. My word...

i recall a faded morning lingering back in the town of my hazy memories
it embraces the scattered traces of my lost imagination, the resonance of pitter-patter, pitter-patter of heavenly water against the foggy glass of my bedroom window
i remember moisture absorbed into air, soft and heavy, as the tip of my cold and pale forefinger caressed it, the smooth crystal of the glass
and i wrote your name over 'n' over, over 'n' over, for i couldn't think of anything but you.
oh it took me a while to step down the crisp window seat of my shady bedroom
and i had my back to your name for two seconds, two seconds...
ah.. who knew, who knew that it took two seconds for present to mould into a masterpiece of past
for moments to change into memories
for a soul to become a lifeless corpse..
for it took me two seconds to turn around
and it took you two seconds to become a masterpiece of past
and gift me memories
that i carry around in the brittle bones of my long forgotten lifeless corpse..
two seconds for the imprint of my cold and pale forefinger to fade into a whisp of nostalgia
darling, i have been so long in love with metaphors that are rich in depths, with a tainted look of peeping reality
and i feel bad because you never stayed back and i never got a chance to thank you for the trance you left me in
so here i am, for you're gone and i'm left all alone with the best of metaphors i ever encountered
