We all have those fleeting memories
Of rolled down windows and stories
Evenings colored by hues of sunsets
Cars breezing past blooming florets
Tanned arms graced by flowing hair
Rumbling old radios and that stare
That stare that made our knees weak
And took away our abilities to speak
Light air caressing our fragile frames
As we lost ourselves in foreign names
Rolling past those lush country sides
Listening to the rush of faraway tides
Singing loudly along grunge records
Pulling at one another's heart cords
Drowning together in ringing laughs
Dreaming to be lovely better halves
I know that those days are long gone
I smile sadly for now I drive all alone
But passing by old town, I recall a beat
That still makes me miss my...
