stars are falling like coins
on this silver marble floor
and i lapse into a silhouette
levitating in a lucid dreamin the arms of hallucination
i silently linger somewhere
in between forever 'n' never
under an incorporeal beamwrapped up in a stellar sky
an astral galaxy on my own
i carry these vast distances
safely in my tears that gleami glide in a vaccuum of stars
fallin' like coins from heaven
melodies clinkin' in my soul
trap me in a musical themeoh i try so hard to pick them
but my fingers tremble softly
and i rush down like glitters
scattered in a colour schemeso i lay down on the roof top
cold concrete kissin' my skin
closin' my eyes under the sky
i let go of my low self-esteemand i lapse into a silhouette
on this grey concrete floor
while the stars fall like coins
in the arms of a lucid dreamAuthor's Note
Listening to 'Trilapse - Forest Fires' and I feel like I'm floating in a galaxy full of stars. Above and beyond all the pain and emptiness. It's beautiful. :')❤
Today's my birthday and I'm under the impression that this is the first time I'm writing a poem on my birthday. This poem is so random, I feel it's unnecessary. But nothing is definite in a dream and if you feel the abstract pull of this poem, I'd think that I succeeded in creating the aura of a dream. *-*
Tell me what you think of it. I'd be glad to know. Thanks! =)
Much love,
Hazel ❤
