Sunlight's filterin', curtains are aglow
I've set dried flowers by my old radio

Over dusty hardbacks, vintage books
So homily fragrant as someone cooks

A tasty breakfast early in the mornin'
Who could have done this adorning?

It's like redolence of a scented candle
Oh so softly sweet, not all can handle!

'N' while relishin' this summery scent
I really forget how harshly you meant

All the words when you said goodbye
Were those true or was it all some lie?

I can't tell the difference, it is a dream
I am so stuck in it, all I can do is beam

I think it was all a part of cold winter!
That tortured my heart's each splinter

But...can you hear a rustling murmer?Well, that's air bringin' a cure, here's..
.

Summer

Author's Note

Listening to 'Don't let me down by Chainsmokers (Illenium Remix)'.

We have Summer right now so I thought of writing a little summer poem. I hope you liked it. =)

I always loved Summer more than the Winter because I feel as if things are so dormant in Winter while Summer feels like a healing season. I know, I know, Winter's cosy and all...

I'm not denying..but Hazel's a Summer girl since childhood. Hehe. :')❤ Do tell me about your perspective regarding seasons. Don't bring in Fall and Spring because Fall's my favourite of all and it would change the whole debate. :P

Much love,
Hazel *-*
