Floatin' in a haze, findin' shrouds
I feel lightheaded in these crowds
Until my eyes lock on a dear sight
It throws in the old nostalgic light
Right amidst colours of this street
I see two shy strangers, they meet
Sharing warm glances and smiles
I see ahead of 'em, unlaying miles
They are murmuring their names
I already feel those ignitin' flames
They slightly prolong handshakes
Deep inside me, a memory wakes
They feel this childish excitement
I just wish, I had a way to prevent
I watch 'em walk into a bookstore
I wonder why I still wait for more
Bells ring and finally they're gone
I'm left standing here, oh so alone
Drowning into a lost jar of dreams
My soul inside me silently screams
I wish I could run after them now
But grounded, I cannot figure how
Because I want to tell 'em dangers
Of falling so in love with strangers
