Theon Jace'Point of View:

"Is your bride not here yet?"my best man, my cousin, asked.

Lalo akong naguilty. I don't have the courage to answer him. I closed my eyes and uttered a silent prayer. To my astonishment, the orchestra started playing and the entourage beganthe march. Is she here?

The door is closed and the moment it opened again, they turned on the artificial fog. Gradually, her image began to appear. She's here. She's really here. I wasn't expecting her gown will compliment her perfectly. Kahit di ko aminin, she looks stunningly amazing.

As she slowly walks down the aisle on her white wedding dress, I can tell that I'm not the only one seeing the most beautiful scenery in the world. Camera flashes are flicking. As she walks almost close to me, I spotted her eyes! She's crying.

"Man, you have the most gorgeous bride in the world."my best man commented.

That... That is something I wouldn't agree more. She's perfect. I took her from her parents' hands, I nervously held her.

"I thought you're running away."I whispered as I led her to the altar.

Hindi niya ako sinagot. She tried to fake a smile.

"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together here in the sign of God – and in the face of this company – to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men..."

The ceremony went well. We have done everything accordingly as practiced.

"Theon Jace and Dillenna Heera, face each other."the minister commanded.

I gazed at her soul through her eyes. She met my gaze. The puffiness of her eyes is evident even behind her make-up. She must have cried a lot lately.

"Do you, Theon Jace, take Dillenna Heera to be your lawfully wedded wife – to live together after God's ordinance – in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live?"

"Can we say no?"she mouthed in a low voice. Napangiti ako sa ginawa niya.

"Yes. I do."

"Do you, Dillenna Heera, take Theon Jace to be your lawfully wedded husband – to live together after God's ordinance – in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon him your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him as long as you both shall live?"

Her gaze afterwards made me more edgy. The minister exchanged looking at the both of us.

"Dillenna."I called out.

Tumikhim 'yong ministro. Dillenna flaunted her grimace.

"I do."she eventually muttered.

She smirked at me. I knew it. Nang-aasar siya. I grinned back at her. She gave me a stern look.

"Dillenna, you are now consecrated to me as my wife from this day forward and I give you this ring as the pledge of my love and as the symbol of our unity and with this ring, I thee wed." I slowly slipped the ring to her finger. I then squeezed her hand.

"What are you doing?"she mouthed to me in a low voice again.

I just smirked at her. As she took my hand for her turn to give me the ring, she pinched the back of my palm. I almost shrieked for what she did! I glanced at the minister. Good thing, he didn't notice the quirkiness of this woman.

"Theon, you are now consecrated to me as my husband from this day forward and I give you this ring as the pledge of my love and as the symbol of our unity and with this ring, I thee wed."

Habang isinuot niya sa'kin ang wedding ring, naramdaman kong nanlalamig ang mga kamay niya even with those white gloves.

"Nanlalamig ka. Why's that?"I whispered.

She rolled her eyes at me.

"May you always share with each other the gifts of love – be one in heart and in mind – may you always create a home together that puts in your hearts – love – generosity and kindness."the minister continued.

I took her hands to annoy her. I can't believe what she's done lately just to annoy me. That was a bit embarassing.

"In as much as Theon Jace and Dillenna Heera have consented together in marriage before this company of friends and family and have pledged their faith – and declared their unity by giving and receiving a ring – are now joined."

She looked away when I started gazing at her intently. She secretly pinched my hand.

"Aww."

Nilakihan ko siya ng mata. Nginisian lang niya ako at saka nagtaas ng kilay.

"You have pronounced yourselves husband and wife but remember to always be each other's best friend. What – therefore – God has joined together – let no man put asunder. And so, by the power vested in me by the Republic of the Philippines and Almighty God, I now pronounce you husband and wife – and may your days be good and long upon the earth."

Holding my gaze at her, I deliberately flashed her a grimmace she's always annoyed to see from me.

"You may now kiss the bride."

I took her veil very carefully and slowly. Hindi na siya nakapagpigil at binulungan niya ako.

"Make it quick."she mouthed in a demanding tone.

Gently and slowly, I brushed my lips to hers. Because I simply want to annoy her, I kissed her hard. With her hands wrapped around my nape, she furtively pinched me to stop me. I instead deepened the kiss and pulled her even closer to me.
