NAGISING AKO NANG MARAMDAMAN kong may mga matang nakatitig sa'kin. Idinilat ko ang mga mata ko't sinalubong ang mga misteryosong mga mata na alam ko kung kanino.

"Demon."

"The lunch' ready, angel. From the looks of it, you had a sound sleep."

"Y'ah. Thanks."I murmured in a low and hoarse voice.

"Get up now, lazy-head,you still have your class."

"Ugh. Hindi ako papasok today."

"No. In just a few weeks' time, it will be your graduation. For the past weeks, you have escaped most of your classes."pangaral pa niya.

"Demon. Ayoko nga."I murmured as I covered my face with a pillow.

"Kapag hindi ka tatayo diyan, hindi mo magugustuhan ang gagawin ko."banta pa niya.

"Please. Just give me this day. Bukas papasok na talaga ako. That's a promise."I insisted as I batted my lashes to convince him.

"Oh Dillenna Heera. Stop what you're doing. Don't give me that look. That won't work on me."nakangising saad niya.

Tsk. Kaasar naman. I pouted at his statement. Ayaw ko pa talagang bumalik sa klase. Maiinis lang ako. Kaklase ko pa naman ang Gavin na 'yon. Ugh.

"Tayo na diyan."utos niya ulit sabay hila ng unan na itinakip ko sa mukha ko.

Kahit na ayaw ng katawan at utak ko ay pinili ko nalang na tumayo at sumunod sa kanya palabas.

"I called mom."he said as we walked in the foyer.

"YOUR MOM? YOUR MOM? Is she coming over?"I exclaimed.

Napahinto rin ako. Bigla kasi akong natakot dahil sa sinabi niya. Bakit bigla-bigla ay siningit niya ang mommy niya---

"Hey! Why are you— Haha. Angel-face, did I scare you? I wasn't referring to my mother! I was referring to yours."wika niya sabay tawa.

Hahampasin ko na sana siya sa ginawa niya. But I was astounded when I saw his facade at the moment. Laughter is all you can see in it. It's really the first time I saw him laughing genuinely.

"What?"Sita niya sa'kin nang matauhan siya.

"You should laugh more often, Demon. You're bringing music to this place." I said smiling at him.

Nang hindi siya kumibo ay nagpatiuna na ako sa elevator. Nang nasa loob nako, sinilip ko siya. He's still standing to where he was when I left him.

"Demon! Iiwan na kita!"sigaw ko sa kanya.

Napailing siya at saka naglakad papunta sa'kin. Nang nasa elevator na kaming pareho, pinisil niya ng malakas yong ilong ko.

"Demon naman eh! Made-deform 'yan! Didn't you know? Pinagawa ko lang 'yan eh!"biro ko sa kanya.

"Seriously?"nakakunot ang noo na tanong niya.

"Hahaha. Moron! Demon, how could you believe that? I look exactly like my mom--- Wait! Why did you call my mom?"

Buti nalang at naalala ko eh.

"I just informed her that you're here. Nag-alala nga sila ni daddy when they knew what you were like this morning. Kamuntikan ng magpabook ng flight ni mommy eh para makauwi."

Ah. Oo nga pala. Nasa New York sina mommy't daddy ngayon for a business trip.

"Ikaw ha! Kina-career mo na ang pagma-mommy't daddy mo sa parents ko."
