Chapter 33: Promise of Love

Dillenna Heera's Point of View:

Wearing my doomed façade, I slowly stepped on the plane. I looked back to see Ellie waving at us which is making my heart ache a bit.

"Goodbye ate Heera, I'll be in Phil next month so we'll see each other soon!"sigaw niya mula sa ibaba.

A tear sprouted from the side of my eyes. For my week of stay here in Paris, she's been so dear to me. She is so thoughtful, adorably sweet and clingy.

"Goddess. Don't cry.You heard her."bulong ni Chase mula sa likuran ko.

Binalingan ko siya. Nakapukol ang mata niya kay Damon na nakatingin sa kanya ng matalim. Itinaas niya ang dalawang kamay niya.

"Fine, man. As agreed."sabi niya rito at saka humarap ulit sa'kin. "I'm really going to miss you, goddess."he said and abruptly held me close to his embrace. "I think, I love you already Dilly. But I love my bestfriend more. Mami-miss kita—"hindi niya natuloy ang sasabihin dahil hinila na siya ni Damon.

"We're leaving, Chase."Damon said to him, smirking sheepishly.

"You're a jealous possessive moron, DAMON. Just let me hug my goddess for one last time!"he retorted like a kid having tantrums.

Kitang-kita kong nagpipigil lang na matawa si Damon.

"Don't you dare say that name again."he threatened. "Baba na."

"Just one last hug."Chase insisted. Tinaasan siya ng kilay ni Damon. "Fine, aalis na."he retreated and turned his back on us.

Papunta na ako sa upuan nang biglang may humapit sa bewang ko't niyakap ako ng sobrang higpit.

"Paalam, goddess."bulong niyang muntik nang magpaiyak sa'kin.

Binitiwan niya ako. Before he could finally run, he kissed me quick on the lips. Hindi ako nakapalag, my eyes widened in surprise!

"I'm killing you, Chase!"sigaw ni Damon rito but he was already on the ground waving beside his sister.

"Stupid Ferguson."I heard him mutter as we sat down.

Napangiti ako habang tinapunan ko siya ng tingin.

"What, Angel?"

"What's what, Demon?"

"Why are you smirking at me?"

"Because you're so cute when you're jealous."I replied making his cheeks turned more pinkish. "I'm kind of sad Demon. I still don't want to go back."

"Mutual feeling, angel. But I have promised mom and dad. So, sorry. I prefer not to break my promise to the king and queen than to spoil the princess."nakangising sabi niya.

"Whatever, demon."

"I love you too."

Nginitian ko nalang siya't ipinikit ang mga mata ko. I don't want to shear off my happy pills yet. I'm enjoying my stay and I hate ending it.

"Please, Damon. Please..."pangungulit ko ulit sabay pa-cute sa kanya.

The day has ended with the four of us doing nothing but stay inside the house. Isn't it supposed to be my getaway? Aside from that, I really felt bad about Damon and Chase' treatment to each other. They're like considering themselves as non-existent.

"Chase! Halika nga rito!"

Lumapit naman siya ngunit inilayo niya parin ng bahagya ang sarili niya kay Damon.
