Chapter 13: Wedding's Off

Nagising akong mag-isa sa tent. I immediately headed to my room where I found my two friends waiting for me.

"Good morning beautiful bride!"

Sa halip na ngumiti ay napasimangot ako. I have just had the best day yesterday. I don't think I'm ready to leave that kind of life of full freedom.

"Can I still call it off?"

Hindi siya sumagot. Binalingan ko sina Liam at Amity na parehong puno ng pag-aalala ang mga mukha. I closed my eyes to grasp for strength.

I'm already five minutes standing inside the church. Nobody else knows she's not coming. As I looked at my parents and the crowd, I feel guilty. I almost did the urge to shout and inform everyone the truth.
