I woke up to Finn and Sasha talking quietly on either side of me. Finn smiled as he realized I was waking up.
"Morning beautiful."
Finn said, standing up next to my bed.
"Hey."
I said, grabbing my phone to check the time.
7:45am.
"How are you feeling?"
Sasha asked me.
"I'm a little sore. It feels weird not having Aria in my stomach."
I said, sitting up in bed.
"I bet."
Sasha said.
"Have either of you held her yet?"
I asked them.
"No. We wanted you to be the first one to get to hold her."
Finn said.
"Well is Mella still here?"
I asked Finn.
"Yeah. Actually more then just Mella is here. She must've made a few phone calls cause Cass, Char, Becky, Kevin, and Sami are here too."
Finn said, smiling. Then we heard a knock on the door.
"Hey."
Mella said as she poked her head in the door.
"Hey. You can come in."
I said.
"Well actually, everyone else wants to come in too."
Mella said.
"They're fine. Let them in."
I said. She then opened the door fully and all of our friends came in and hugged us.
"Have you guys seen Aria yet?"
I asked them.
"We got a glimpse of her at the nursery but that was just through a window."
Charlotte said.
"Oh. Well I wonder if we can get someone to bring her in here. I'm kinda anxious to hold my baby girl."
I said. Sasha ran off to find a nurse as we all chatted. Then we heard another knock at the door. Sasha walked in with the biggest smile on her face as a nurse followed her, pushing a small plastic bed in front of her. She then rolled the bed next to me where I saw Aria fully for the first time.
"You wanna hold her?"
The nurse asked. I nodded as the nurse helped me to hold her.
"I'll be back in a bit."
The nurse said, leaving. I wiped the tears off my face as everyone admired Aria.
"Wait, what's on her shirt?"
Becky said, looking at her onesie that was slightly peeking through the blanket she was tightly wrapped in. I opened it up slightly but enough to read the writing on the shirt.
"Will you marry my daddy?"
I read it out loud as I looked confused. I then looked over at Finn who was down on one knee, holding a box with a ring in it.
"Oh my god. Yes! Yes! A million times yes!"
I said to him. Everyone smiled as Finn hugged me and gave Aria and I a kiss.
