2 Weeks Later
I sighed as I fed Emery as I got my makeup done. To say I was nervous for my comeback was an understatement.
"Hey cutie."
Seth said, kissing my cheek.
"Hey. Can you take Em to Sasha real quick?"
I asked him. He took Em out of my arms as I sighed.
"What's wrong?"
He asked me.
"I'm nervous. What if I don't get a pop? What if no one cares?"
I asked, looking at him.
"Bay you know the crowd loves you. Just go out there and kill it."
Seth said. He went to find Sasha as I finished getting my hair and makeup done. Getting my hair done in my signature side ponytail made my heart feel warm. I walked around and found Sasha and Seth talking by catering.
"You look so good baby!"
Seth said, hugging me.
"Thank you. I'm feeling a bit better in my gear."
I said as I smiled down at Emery who was in Sasha's arms.
"You ready to see Mommy and Daddy kick some butt?"
I asked her as she smiled.
1 Hour Later
I smiled as I stood in the gorilla, waiting for Seth to come backstage. His comeback was amazing and he got the biggest pop. When he came back I nearly leaped into his arms.
"You did so good out there!"
I said, kissing him.
"Thank you. I love you."
He said as he smiled.
"I love you more."
I said as I took a deep breath. Since Alexa was the champion, she was going to go out first, make fun of me and the other girls for a bit, then I would interrupt her.
"Good luck out there."
Seth said, walking out of the Gorilla. Alexa came in and made her entrance as I watched the monitor.
"And where even is Bayley? Hugging her new little daughter? Or maybe she's still hugging her hopes and dreams as they slip through her fingers, once again."
Alexa said. As my music hit I ran out with a huge smile on my face. I got in the ring and cut one of the best promos of my career. It ended with me leaving Alexa in the middle of the ring. When I got to the gorilla, Seth was the first one to greet me.
"You did so amazing baby!"
Seth said, picking me up.
"My best friend is finally back!"
Sasha said with a smile as she held Emery.
"That was so exhilarating. I can't believe I'm finally back."
I said with tears in my eyes.
