I froze in fear, not knowing what Aaron could do. Everyone looked at me for a reaction, but I was frozen. My first instinct to run. Anywhere. But I couldn't leave everyone behind. I couldn't just sit here and share a meal with the person who abused me for years.
"I gotta go."
I said, slowly walking back.
"Bay."
Aaron said, getting out of his seat.
"No! Don't you dare come near me."
I yelled, putting my hand up to stop him. I walked out of the restaurant as I felt tears rushing down my face.
"Bay?"
I heard someone ask behind me. I turned around to see Sasha with a sympathetic look on her face. She knew what was going on in my head. She knew how terrified I was. She knew everything. She immediately wrapped me up into a hug as I sobbed into her shoulder.
"What's going on?"
I heard Seth's voice but I didn't want to bring my head off of Sasha's shoulder. If I didn't look up, I didn't have to deal with reality. The reality that my abuser was just happily walking around terrified me.
"Seth. Don't."
I heard Sami say as Sasha rubbed my back. Sami knew all about this too. Of course he did. Sasha and Sami were the ones I confided in every time. They saw every bruise, every cut, every broken bone. They knew how bad it was. But Seth didn't. Only Sasha and Sami. Not even Finn knew the extent of it.
"Let's go back to the hotel."
Sasha said, wrapping her jacket around me as we started walking.
"We'll see you guys at the hotel."
Sasha said to the boys as we walked towards the hotel.
