"Who's the cutest little girl in the entire world? It's you, Emery! Yes it is!"
I heard Seth saying as I smiled. Sasha, Sami, Seth, and I had the rest of the week off from shows so we all decided to take a trip to San Jose. I was going to introduce them to some of my friends since I never got to go home and see them. I was worried to see my family since I knew how unsupportive they were of my career. They didn't even know I was with Seth or had Emery.
"You ready to go?"
I asked Seth, throwing my "I'm A Hugger" hoodie on.
"Yep, you little hugger."
Seth said, wrapping his arm around my waist and picking up Aria's car seat.
"Okay you little architect."
I said, laughing at his shirt.
"Hey! That's little kingslayer to you!"
Seth said as I rolled my eyes.
Later That Day
"I'm so ready for dinner."
I said as Sasha, Sami, Seth, and I got off the plane. Seth held Emery in his arms as I carried her car seat. None of us had ate all day but we were going out with some of my hometown friends for dinner. We took a taxi to our hotel and I unpacked all of our stuff.
"Emery is down for her nap."
Seth said, wrapping his arms around my waist,
"Good."
I said, kissing him. Sasha and Sami's room was connected to ours so it was nice for them to only be a door way away. We all quickly got dressed for dinner and Seth put a sleeping Emery in her car seat,
"You look amazing."
Seth said, kissing me. I was wearing a black dress that hugged my body but not uncomfortably.
"Thank you. I guess you're okay too."
I said as I laughed. Then Sasha and Sami bursted into our room.
"Hey! You ready to go?"
Sasha said.
"Do you guys not know what knocking is? What if we were like, having sex in here?"
I asked Sasha as she rolled her eyes.
"First off, I would hope you weren't doing it in front of your baby. And second off, we would've heard pounding on the wall."
Sasha said, mimicking pounding noises as she hit the wall.
"I hate you!"
I said, hitting her on the arm.
"And we probably would've heard screaming."
Sami added.
"I don't scream."
I said to him.
"No, but he does."
Sasha said, pointing to Seth.
"We really need to stop sharing rooms with them. And going on couple getaways."
Seth said as I laughed.
25 Minutes Later
"Lia!"
I yelled as I hugged my best friend.
"Oh my gosh Bayley! I missed you!"
She said as I smiled. We stood outside the restaurant at Sasha, Sami, and Seth caught up with us.
"Lia, this is my fiancé Seth and my little girl Emery."
I said, pointing to Seth and Emery who was cuddled up in her car seat.
"She's so precious."
Lia said as Sasha cleared her throat.
"Oh and these are my other friends Sasha and Sami."
I said. Lia smiled as I looked at Sasha, already feeling the tension.
"Well everyone is inside so let's head in!"
Lia said. As we walked in, I saw all of my friends sitting at a table as I smiled. Until I saw who was at the end of the table. My heart dropped. My smile wiped away. Pain rushed through my body as I felt tears well up in my eyes.
