"You ready to hold her?"
The nurse asked me as she held Emery in her arms. I nodded as she placed her in my arms.
"Hi baby girl."
I said, smiling down at Emery. Seth snapped a photo of Emery and I as I looked at him.
"She's so adorable."
Seth's mom said, running her finger over her cheek.
"I love her so much."
Seth said as I felt tears rushing down my cheeks, not letting my eyes leave Emery's.
"Babe, don't cry."
Seth said, wiping the tears from my face.
"She's just so... perfect."
I said.
3 Hours Later
After Seth's family and all of our friends left, I sat on one of the chairs with Emery in my arms as Seth took a video of us.
"Look at my little momma bear and her cub! She's finally here everyone!"
Seth said as I smiled at the camera.
"Little Emery Delilah!"
I said as I smiled. Seth posted it on Instagram as I smiled.
"Can you hold her while I get dressed real quick?"
I asked Seth.
"I don't know."
He said with a look on his face.
"Why not? How do you expect to take care of her if you won't hold her?"
I asked him.
"I'm just scared I will drop her."
Seth said.
"You won't drop here. I'll help you."
I said, passing Emery to him.
"See, you're good!"
I said, smiling at him.
