Crocodile tears

PaRappa coughed out a breath as he remembered Twisted Ted's don't go to the factory rule. He had already gotten way past the campgrounds now. Hopefully the beast was asleep and had just not seen him. From now on he stepped lightly, and tried not to make so much noise.

The only way he could know where he was going was due to the clearing smoke (Not because of production, but fires.) It was peaceful, for now. Every step closer brought back the crushing feeling. It was so easy to turn back. PaRappa turned to look back from where he came. A nice camp, nice people, nice tiny houses with blankets that hug you like a mother. He sighed, and turned back to the path ahead of him.

"HAHA GOtCHA YOU BRAT!"

PaRappa was suddenly face to face with Twisted Ted. The smoke emitting from the monster's mouth, eyes, and nose was so much, that it was like a dissolving upside down waterfall. PaRappa froze in place. For a second he almost wanted to let it to snap its jaws down on him. He couldn't stand the pressure, "What's with you? Scared stiff? You should be, because i'm hungry and you're breaking the rules.... You're just not gonna move huh? I thought someone like you would put up more of a fight,"

Crowla launched himself over to PaRappa and bit his ear. The pain snapped PaRappa back and reminded him that dying hurt. That still didn't give him anywhere he could run. Well, anywhere wise. He thought about running straight past Twisted Ted, or running right or left and then going around him. Twisted Ted inhaled.

Quickly making a discussion, PaRappa ran left. Twisted Ted's reaction was delayed, but like a train he started charging as soon as he saw PaRappa's direction. At PaRappa's current speed TT would've intercepted him if he hadn't jumped out of the way. TT snapped his jaws shut and swallowed nothing. He had no feeling in his mouth, so at first he thought he killed PaRappa. That's when he looked over to find the dog dashing down into a stream trench.

With all of his legs Ted leaped forward and tried galloping after the leap. At the stream trench he heard no sound. He climbed in, as the trench was quite wide. Looking around Ted snorted out smoke causing ripples in his waterfall.

PaRappa was hiding under the roots of a tree that was hanging off the trench wall. There were spiders hiding along with him, but he didn't care. Ted went off slowly in the direction he believed PaRappa went.

For a moment he could breathe.

When there was 2 spiders crawling up PaRappa's face, and Ted was well into the distance PaRappa got out from his cover. He jumped up to try and scale the trench walls, but he missed his grip and fell. PaRappa swiftly turned around to see if he caused a stir. Twisted Ted was none the wiser.

PaRappa jumped up again and used tree roots like handles to help pull himself up. He decided he was going to go back to where he came to get farther from TT, and then head straight to the factory. Unfortunately he was already exhausted just from walking in the overgrowth. This is gonna be a long day.

He arrived at the cat walkway once again and looked up to it for a moment. This was where he first saw Lucio and Bugger Plus. He half expected to see them turn up again, but nobody leapt from the bushes.

PaRappa proceeded to climb the rickety thing and walk across. He found that the doorknob to the previously locked door was blasted open with a small explosion. PaRappa walked into the yellow and red carpet of the housing section. Down some stairs he found a door to Storage to his left. He went down that way to find a stack of crates on fire. The coreless robots inside the crates toppled over each other.

Two robots rushed over to him. It startled PaRappa so he instinctively took out his chisel, but it was just Brethda.

"You're back!" She said.
