You glare at Tsukyama, "Seriously?" You shout at him, "I've only just made a cup of coffee!"
"And?"
"It's 11 in the morning. I need my coffee. How am I supposed to function?" You pass a cup of coffee to Tsukyama and then Uta. You give a knock at Kaneki's door, "wake up, darling brother," you mock.
The door swings open, knocking you out of the way. Kaneki marches out, not even muttering an apology, staring straight at Tsukyama. Now, it's unlikely Kaneki would show signs of holding a grudge but, for whatever reason, he was purely angry at Tsukyama. His eyes are fixated on him and the eye contact is deadly. You think about quickly changing the topic so Kaneki would loosen up but you are so intrigued at his strange behavior that you don't dare to interfere.
"You," Kaneki spits through gritted teeth. Tsukyama jumps at the sudden hostile tone. "What is wrong with you? you lack unawareness! You haven't the knowledge of decency, do you? You are just a self centred pile of-"
"Okayyy..." You shout out as you cut Kaneki's monologue short, "let's leave Tsukyama alone. He hasn't done anything wrong." Tsukyama looks relieved until you start the next sentence, "But he has been a proper issue."
"Fight me!" Kaneki yells at Tsukyama as he pushes you out the way.
"What did I do?" Tsukyama yells back as he raises his arms in surrender. His face was white with horror and he was shaking.
"I saw everything." Kaneki swiftly lifts his hand up, showing you phone enclosed in his hands. He must've grabbed it out of your pocket when he pushed you out the way. You scowl at him but he doesn't care. "You lied to Uta."
Suddenly, Uta perks up - as much as a monotone person can - at the sound of his name. "What?" He says in a low voice as he stares at Tsukyama.
"Yep." Kaneki says as he confronts Tsukyama. "He sent the text, not (Y/N)! It's dumb but it's true."
"Oh," Uta mutters as disappointment floods his eyes. You feel sorry for him so you step in.
"Shall we go on a date now, Uta?"
