By 6:30 you had cooked a pot noodle and devised a plan so Kaneki would look like he's eating. You had made Kaneki wear a long-sleeved jacket and stuffed a plastic bag down one sleeve. Now when he eats he will be able to stuff the food down the plastic bag in his sleeve if it is near his face. Absolute genius!
The night is beginning to draw closer and you start to wonder if Hide was really coming. While you are lost in thought, a knock sounded. Kaneki and you freeze for a minute, making another chorus of knocks. You knew who it is.
Kaneki opens the door and, as you expected, Hide was behind it. He smiles at Kaneki and then notices you. He gives you a smile too and a red tint covers his face. Is he blushing or is he just really embarrassed? You think to yourself.
Hide walks in. He doesn't say a word to either of you, instead he looks down at the floor. You wonder what had gotten into him. He looks up at you again and gives a big smile.
You come to the conclusion that he must still be embarrassed from kissing you the last time you crossed paths. As the night progresses, you can only hope that nothing like that happens again.
