It's all going to turn out okay, you keep telling yourself as you grab your suitcase out of a cupboard. You have already packed everything in a removal van a couple days ago and now you're just grabbing the smaller things like your toothbrush or hand cream. The house has been set up and you're all ready to move into it.

You'd messaged your new manager at the coffee shop to officially state your resignation. He was fine with it as the coffee shop has been put up for sale after you old boss 'disappeared'. He's locking up shop for the last time in a couple days.

Uta came around - surprisingly with Touka. They wished you and Kaneki luck in your new home. You'd sorted out you relationship with Uta and settled on forgetting it ever happened. Of course, the memory of Uta being so kind to you will never cease to exist - much like the memory of Touka practically attempting to murder you.

Kaneki invited Hide around for a day as well. It was heartbreaking as he handed you his last letter. Dear (Y/N), it said, if this was my fault, I never meant to do you and Kaneki any harm. It was a silly crush and an even sillier way of showing effection for you. I understand now why you couldn't date me and I am deeply sorry for trying to force you to go out with me. Stay in touch. -Hide.

You haven't heard anything from Tsukyama. You hadn't mustered the courage to send him one measly text message, let alone plan to meet up with him. The anger that has been occupying your body and soul from the first minute you'd seen him has been dying down over time and you begin to wonder why your feelings towards him is so mixed. Some days you want to get as far away from him as possible, whereas other days you want to spend time with him alone.

The car horn toots from outside. It makes you jump as the noice echoes throughout the empty hallways of your now vacant home. You get a better grip on your heavy suitcase before hauling it out of the room. Your suitcase isn't really full with items so much of the weight is coming from the metal frame work of the luggage.

As you walk through the doorway of your empty bedroom, the corner of the suitcase hits the doorframe, resulting in the case swinging around to hit you on the back of the leg. You let out a yelp in pain and curse a few times until you feel as if you can make it to the end of the room without falling down from exhaustion.

You make it out the front door. A group of people are peering at you from across the road. You can tell they're curious and it annoys you. A man with a strange uniform on walks up to you. You assume he's the taxi driver although he doesn't seem too trustworthy with his shaved head and tattoos running all the way from his neck to the scalp of his head.

"Can I have your bag?" The driver asks. You nod shyly and hand him your bag. It must be incredibly heavy as he struggles to raise it a couple inches off the ground.

Kaneki walks around the car to meet you. He smiles at you although you can clearly tell it's a fake smile. He didn't want to move away from here but he supported you anyway.

"Why don't you lock up for the last time?" He says as he holds the keys out to you. You take them from him slowly before retreating to the door of your home.

You sigh as you lock the front door of your house for the last time and hand the keys to the landowner who has turned up for the special event. Kaneki walks back to the taxi with his luggage resting by his feet and you feel inclined to join him. The taxi starts up and your beautiful house disappears from view as you drive away. Tears begin to roll down your face as you realise what you're doing, where you're going and what has happened to you in the last year of your life.

You had met a ghoul who attacked your brother; you had a younger boy, who is your brothers best friend, confess his love to you; you had to replace your door hundreds of times because a certain irresponsible ghoul kept breaking into your home; you had practically dated a emotionless man with a very peculiar hobby of mask making; you had a gun held to your head by a crazy woman; you had seen your brother break down in front of you because one of your 'friends' had killed his girlfriend in cold blood. The list went on.

Now you're leaving that side of Tokyo. Maybe you'll return, maybe you won't. It was all a mess of unmade plans that scattered your mind. It had been a quick decision to leave your home and move away to an unknown neighbourhood but now you're second guessing yourself. What if the people aren't nice - evil, even? It didn't really matter since you and your brother wouldn't be talking to people much anymore. It had been too... traumatic is the word you could sum up your experience.

Another question popped up into your mind: Who can I speak to about Kaneki and this ghoul-ness? Fenina had moved away because of the high concern over ghouls but she hadn't told you where she was going. (F/N) had completely dropped off the radar and you had no clue where they went. You have no one you can talk to and you will be forced to bite your tongue for the next few years of your life. All of this concern burned one pitiful sentence into you're head:

Can you keep a secret?

And there we go! The end of the book! I want to thank all of my readers on supporting me during the writing stage of this book and also everyone who had read this book after it has been completed! It's been one crazy ride where I've had writers block so often that it's unbelievable!

If you've read this far, I first want to say congratulations for reading 110 chapters of this poorly written book and putting up with my bad sense of humor. Second of all, thank you so much for reading the whole book! It means so much to me to know that I have readers who enjoy the stuff I write!

If you'd take a few seconds out of your day, could you please give me feedback on this story to help me improve it during the editing stage as well as future fanfictions. I'd be really grateful if you would. If you liked this book share it around with people you know and love!

There's not much else to say about this story so I'm going to close it one last time:
