"Dude, seriously?" You called to Kaneki as sudden and frequent crashes sounded from your bedroom. He had ran in there earlier with a little brown bag or something. You knew what was happening; he was becoming a spooky ghoul. I mean, it was obvious why but you kept asking yourself 'seriously?!'
"Who gave it to you?" You asked with a raised voice. You weren't angry but you needed to add some comedy into this uncommon situation. You didn't get an answer to you guessed. "It was Touka, wasn't it?" Still no answer. "She's not a good influence on you. I think I might cut all communication between her and you." Still no answer.
"I'm in no shape to bash the door down, you know. I can't give you attention," you say as you get more annoyed. You try turning the handle but, as expected, it's still locked. You get your phone out and select Kaneki's contact before calling him. You hear his phone buzz from inside his bedroom and wait for a little while. Then you hear the phone click as he picks up.
"Hey, what do y-"
"Open the door," you cut him off in an unamused tone.
"No. I'm not letting you see me like th-"
"Open the door. It's a simple movement. You know, turning the key?"
"No."
You began to regret adding a lock onto Kaneki's door. You lean against the door and speak into the phone, "I swear, if you open the door while I'm lying on it..." And with that the door swings open, making you fall on your back onto the floor.
The room reaked of something disgusting; flesh. You tell yourself that you need to cut Touka from Kaneki and your's life but you know it would just make your precious little brother sad and maybe even begin to hold a fatal grudge until he finally kills you exactly 2 weeks after being fired from your new, low-pay job at McDonald's.
Oh well, that's a risk you're willing to take.
