You're beginning to feel super awkward now as you sit in a small café in the inner city. Men in business suits stroll past, as do some very smart-looking women holding their child's hand. It was a nice sight. Something wasn't really nice to look at though.
How long has she been staring at me? You ask yourself as you look at Touka, who is sitting in front of you. You check your watch, about 45 minutes. That's not weird at all, is it? You mentally scoff at her.
"Could you not look at me for a long period of time?" You groan.
Touka grumbles and looks away. You give a sigh in relief but you don't feel like everything's gone back to normal. You look around the café to notice a couple of people staring at you. When you make eye contact, they look away and get back to drinking tea.
Your eyes lock with a certain person who you can clearly tell is mortified but is trying urgently to hide it. You tell yourself to look away but your head is locked in place. Your face is visibly going red and you can feel your ears heating up. With a clouded mind, you wonder if your whole face is bright red or if you're just blushing. You hope you're just blushing but nothing in your life goes to plan.
He gets up and walks towards the table you and Touka are sitting at. You hear Touka give an annoyed groan as he leans down. His forearms rock the table as they lean down on the wood.
"Seriously? Him?" Touka says as she jabs her thumb at him.
"Seriously? Her?" He says as he scowls at Touka.
You take a deep breath in and try to make out what you're witnessing; Touka having a battle with Uta.
