You cough loudly as you walk through the damp streets. You're on a date with Touka but it doesn't seem like a date. Kaneki had insisted on coming too and Tsukyama had made sure he was invited. Kaneki wasn't a great problem - he would just stay quiet and scowl at you if you said anything wrong. Tsukyama was an issue, on the other hand. Every time I would say literally anything he would give a small yelp and pretend to faint onto Kaneki's shoulder.
Touka stops after you cough for a second time and turns to you. In a swift movement she grabs a small, yellow pill and puts it into your mouth.
You're confused. It's too big to swallow whole but too hard to bite. You settle on sucking it and, as you get rid of the hard outer-shell, a warm liquid runs down your throat. You recognise it in an instant. It's a sweet honey. There is a strange aftertaste though. It's a strong taste that makes you're face scrunch up. It takes you a little while to recognise the citrus taste which you then identify as lemon.
Tsukyama yells out, "Oh! You have betrayed me, (Y/N)!"
You turn to face him. You make your face look cross and intimidating. "This you your idea!" You yell back as you point at him.
