*Upon request, I am continuing the piece I did before, Madness. I hope you guys enjoyed the first part well enough for this much longer segment. Also, I'm starting another full-length fanfiction called The Legend of Kratos. Not sure when it'll be posted (if ever :'( ) but I'm not the best author out there... so, you know... might not even bother. I wanted to thank you guys for your support. Pop in a comment now and then to tell me how I'm doing, to give me ideas. It makes my day better to see those little notifications. Anyways, enjoy. Enough blabbing from me!*
Goku likened the new life situation unto having a new dog in the family. A very murderous, temperamental, whiny, confusing dog. Vegeta could be convinced to drink, but any semblance or even mention of food sent him fleeing. It was actually funny the first few times. He would creep into the kitchen, probably with some new idea of how to kill Bulma or Dende, when he would catch a whiff of something like lasagna, or even some mild smell, like salsa; he would freeze up, then turn and skitter away like a cat. Goku couldn't resist one time and got it on video after intentionally setting out food.
Now he watched Vegeta carefully. The little Saiyan slowly crept behind the couch towards Dende, thinking the Namek was unaware. He very much was. When Dende became uncomfortable with Vegeta's proximity- ten feet- he glanced at Goku. Goku said, "Vegeta, don't even think about it." When Vegeta snarled at him, he sharpened his tone. "Vegeta! That's enough." Immediately Vegeta was on his lap with his face buried in Goku's shoulder, a kind of meaningless apology. Goku shook his head, trying to stay firm. "Oh, don't give me that bull, Vegeta. You're not the least bit sorry. I'm surprised you haven't tried to kill me yet!"
Vegeta pulled back a few inches. He exhaled softly, his eyes sliding to meet Goku's. "K-akarrot," he purred, then was gone in a flash.
"Nice, Goku!" Bulma congratulated. "He's gonna try you next, just watch."
Goku shook his head. "No. Not even like this would he allow harm to come to me, by his hands or no. Vegeta may have lost his mind, but I'm confident I still have a hold on his heart." He smiled a little as he remembered a moment when he'd caught Vegeta just smiling at him from over the edge of the couch, again showing animalistic tendencies. But as soon as Goku recognized the action, Vegeta seemed embarrassed and hid. When Goku saw him again a few minutes later, it was as if the exchange never happened.

Goku felt teeth on his neck.
He didn't react, knowing that any movement would set him off. Vegeta panted heavily beside him. Goku felt the gesture again, then the light scrapes were soothed by a damp tongue. He became aware of purring. Vegeta hadn't purred since before becoming infected. He took a chance and opened his eyes. Vegeta's purrs fell silent and the Prince grew still. Goku slowly turned his head. "Geta?" he murmured. A whimper slipped out of Vegeta's throat, and Goku looked at his mate fully. Big black eyes stared desperately into his.
K...rrt.
He was trying to use their link. What he could not voice, he tried to word through some other means, though it was just as unsuccessful. Goku sat up and cupped Vegeta's flushed face in his hand. "Vegeta, what's wrong? Are you ok, baby?"
Vegeta whined again and tried to use the link. Instead of words, however, Vegeta sent feelings through the connection. And very powerful feelings they were. An overwhelming sense of lust and need burst in Goku's head. He gasped. Vegeta buried his face in his shoulder as if apologizing. Goku held him, stroking his hair. "What are you saying? I don't know what you want. Do you want... me? I don't understand." He was silenced by a kiss from his anxious mate. That possibly answered the question.
