Happy Birthday, Jetra!!!

*Happy birthday, sis! I love you, jetra2*

You sit far above the world, perched in the cool, quiet safety of Kami's Lookout. The sky is clearer than it's been in weeks, and the warm lights of the setting sun cast beautiful hues of orange and red everywhere. Somewhere down below, you note with a smile, Goku and Vegeta are sparring violently on the surface. Despite the fact that it's marring your concentration a little, it's a fun, comforting sound.

"Jetra?"

You turn to see your favorite person in the whole world, Piccolo, making his way over. The movement of air his walking causes makes his cape flow slightly behind him. He sits down beside you and enjoys the relative quiet, smirking when his ears also pick up the sounds of Goku's and Vegeta's mock battle. "They're idiots," he scoffs fondly. "But hey, at least they're not screaming at each other all day long."

"That is a relief," you laugh.

He smiles softly and turns your face towards him. Leaning forward, he kisses you softly. "..... Happy birthday, Jetra." Having delivered his gift, he stands and walks away. You smile after him and close your eyes, feeling the warm, dying light fall over your skin.

It's been a really, really good day.
