Goku X Vegeta Oneshots

The Wrong Pill

Ever since a training accident, Vegeta had been taking two different medications to minimize the pain in his back so that he could continue to fight. The day that he accidentally took two of the same pill was... an interesting one.

Goku noticed it when his little mate finally came down the stairs, wearing a dazed but relaxed expression. "Hey, there, hot stuff," he said, catching Vegeta's attention. "You good?"

"Mmhm," Vegeta replied, setting a hand on the back of a chair. "Kinda feel weird... s'not a bad weird but..." He lowered himself into the chair.

Goku came over and looked into Vegeta's eyes. "You kinda look like you're a little high," he commented. "You didn't take anything you weren't supposed to, right?"

Vegeta stared up into Goku's eyes a few moments longer than what was normal, then shook his head. "No," he replied. "Not that I'm aware of." He shook himself slightly. "I dunno..."

"You stay here." Goku went upstairs. Going into their room, he picked up Vegeta's pill bottles. They had to be refilled every week. In one bottle was five pills. The other had three. "Oh, snap," Goku muttered to himself. He went back to the kitchen, but Vegeta wasn't there anymore. "Gosh, where'd he go?" After only a brief search, he found Vegeta curled up on the floor in a patch of sunlight that shone through the window.

Vegeta hated sunlight.

"Vegeta? Figured out what's up. You accidentally took two of one and not one of each." He sat down beside his dreamy-looking mate and rubbed his back. "You're super relaxed, babe. This is actually kind of nice. Feel good?"

Vegeta nodded, smiling. He snuggled into Goku's leg and purred. Goku bit his lip and continued to pet Vegeta. "You are a freaking cutie," he crooned. "Kinda like you like this."
