When I was logging into Wattpad, for some reason the autofill was set to an account that wasn't mine, so I decided to log in. It was my old friend's account, and I didn't go through their stuff or anything but I just looked at their home screen and who they were following and all that.
It turns out, a lot of people I know use this. That makes me kind of very uncomfortable, because I don't want anyone to read this except for my friend-friends. And even then, I don't really want anybody to read this. Except for Ryland.
I'm not going to name names because I feel like maybe I shouldn't have this information in the first place, but via person X, whose account I was logged onto, I found person Y. Y had a cute profile pic, they're super fucking cute. Via Y I found person Z, who, holy. fucking. shit. had a Naruto fanfiction with tens of thousands of views and votes. Can you believe it? I'm dead.
Also, I saw on X's home screen person A and B who are so cringy you wouldn't believe. They have the most stereotypical vaguely self-insertion awkward stories you can imagine. I love it.
I feel nervous going back through to find them on my account because I don't want them to get a notification for anything I might accidentally do and be able to find me.
Idea: I pretend to be someone else. Not in a catfish sort of way. In a subtle kind of way. Where I don't use anyone's pictures and I just put a name and info about someone different from me. Maybe I will do that. Who knows?
