Summer sun set ablaze, roaring on the last of my youth.
Fiery and raging, a consuming affection and intent for last winter's first kiss.Summer sun fading away, sinking behind the horizon-- there more than here-- leaving like the color on the trees.
Summer sun reached it's last day-- no need for aloe, just a jacket and a dream. I'm winter wishing for spring.
----
Fall held me as I cried for another,
wrapped me in its distracting smother,
and kissed me as to say, "you'll be okay."Mourning each passing season
each morning another reason
they'll never come to stay.I don't want a seasonal affection
I want a forever love
or at least a fleeting obsession--a whirlwind adventure that blows me away.
