I've been meaning to do this for a while but procrastinating it for no real reason--I'm going to document my changes on testosterone. Now that I'm 2 and a half months (13 days to be precise) on T I've been seeing some changes and want to write them down before I forget so I'm able to look back on them later. I made the mistake of shaving about two weeks in because I hoped the hair that grew back would look darker and coarser, but it was a PHAT MISTAKE. It just slowed down my facial hair growth for a long time and I'm only recovering now. I take the gel once a day, but I haven't done it every day. I've forgotten/was lazy a few times, but for the most part I've been consistent.
Within 1 week:
- Clitoral growth that seemed to max around 1-1.5 months.1 month:
- Facial hair growth esp. on upper lip (but it looks gross. I keep shaving it because its painfully pubescent)
- Massive increase in libido
- Slight voice drop2 months:
- Voice lowering
- Huge increase in appetite, along with increased stomach fat (I've also been eating unhealthier)
- Another massive increase in libido (It's annoying and obnoxious, I wish it would go away. I catch myself sometimes noticing the physical features of people in an immediately sexual way now, whereas I used to just see someone and be like "that's a person" and just a person, I'm now like "that's a potential sex partner" and it's weird. Obviously that's not all they are to me, it's just the way I've noticed my thoughts trending. I also masturbate way more. Pre-T I did it maybe once or twice a month and now I do it 1-3 times a day.
- Facial hair is starting to grow in darker, but I still shave my upper lip.
- My pee smells different
- Increased hip/chest dysphoria2.5 months:
- Substantial voice drop
- Increased hair growth on thighs
- Increased hair growth on stomach, chest, happy trail
- Crying less
- Angry more (but I've also been off my depression medication, so that might be part of it)
- My body odor smells worse
- More sexually attracted to cis males than before
- Big increase in bottom dysphoria
- Oilier skin (esp. face)
