"Good Morning!" 

I was humming when I opened the door pero halos mapatalon ako sa gulat ng pagbukas ko ng pinto, mukha agad ni Red ang tumambad sa akin. He's smiling very widely na parang bang mapupunit na ang mga labi.

"What are you doing here?" Napatingin ako sa kaniya mula ulo hanggang paa. He is already wearing our school uniform.

Hindi ko alam na may pasok pala siya ng ganito kaaga? I am familiar with his schedule at hindi ko matandaan na may schedule siya ng ganito kaaga. At kung wala naman, it's seven o'clock for Pete's sake. Ano namang ginagawa niya rito?

"Wala naman. Namiss lang kita and I want to see you today. This early." 

"Hindi ba tayo magkikita mamaya? It is too early, Red. Kung balak mong mambwesit ng ganito kaagad, please lang!"

Isinara ko na ang pinto. I have a class this early kaya maaga rin akong naghanda. Though yes, I miss him, as always. Pero hindi ko iyon sasabihin sa kaniya.

"Ayaw mo ba akong makita? I was expecting a good morning kiss from you, you know. I missed you, and you don't know what I've been through these past few days. But then, I am always thinking that no matter what happens, I have you there to cheer me up and make me smile. You're my strength and my medicine that heals my wounds, but today? I can't believe that you can do this to me. That you can easily—

And this is why I don't want to start a conversation with him this early dahil may sira ang ulo niya ng ganito kaaga. He will use words and phrases that even I cannot understand. He sometimes acts like a child, but most of the time, he acts stupid.

Kaya para matigil na siya, hinalikan ko na lang siya sa labi.
